Dirk Grabow

Dirk Grabow (born February 22, 1971 in Rostock ) is a German football official.

Grabow attended the POS from 1977 to 1985 and the KJS in Rostock from 1985 to 1990 , which he finished with the Abitur. Between 1978 and 1990 he played as a goalkeeper for FC Hansa Rostock before studying industrial engineering at the University of Rostock from 1990 to 1996 and receiving his diploma.

From 1997 to 2000 Grabow worked for FC Hansa Fanservice GmbH in the area of merchandising , since 2001 he was finance director and also responsible for the club's licensing process. On July 1, 2006, the then 35-year-old was appointed to succeed Manfred Wimmer as the youngest CEO of FC Hansa. On March 8, 2010, after Hansa got into the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga for the second time in a row, Grabow passed the chairmanship on to Jörg Hempel after a decision by the supervisory board, but remained on the board as head of the finance department until November 2013.
