Dirk Greiser (born February 24, 1963 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player who played for Hertha BSC and SG Wattenscheid 09 in the Bundesliga .

At the age of seven he already played in the youth team of Tennis Borussia , which he only left at the age of 23 to move to Wacker 04 Berlin . From there, the defender moved to Hertha BSC. With the old lady he became a regular player straight away and managed to rise to the Bundesliga in 1990. In the first division, constant injuries threw him back again and again, whereupon he switched to Wattenscheid. There he had to end his career as a sports invalid at the age of 30.

After his career, Greiser studied law . Between 2004 and 2008 he sat on the Hertha BSC supervisory board before he did not run for re-election in 2008 for "private reasons". He then took on the role of legal advisor to Hertha BSC and advisor to the supervisory board. Today Greiser works as a lawyer.
