Joan Heemskerk (* 1968 in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands) studied photography. Dirk Paesmans (* 1965 in Brussels , Belgium) studied with Nam June Paik at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and worked as a performance and video artist. Heemskerk and Paesmans studied in Joel Slyton's art and computer class at San José State University , near Silicon Valley . The artist duo lives in Barcelona, ​​Spain.
