Dirk Ulrich Gilbert

Dirk Ulrich Gilbert (* 1965 in Mainz ) is a German business economist and has been a professor for general business administration, especially business ethics, at the University of Hamburg since February 2012 .

Career

After studying business administration from 1988 to 1992 at the University of Frankfurt , he was in 1997 with a thesis on conflict management in international companies - a discourse ethical approach with honors Summa cum laude doctorate. From 1998 to 2003 he wrote his habilitation thesis on the subject of trust in strategic corporate networks - a structural theory approach . After various activities as a scientific assistant, scientific lecturer and assistant professor, he received a chair for general business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2005 . In 2012 he moved to Hamburg as a university lecturer.
