Dirk Uwe Hansen (* 1963 in Eckernförde ) is a German poet , translator and classical philologist .

Life

Hansen studied Classical Philology in Hamburg and Cologne and was born in Hamburg in 1994 with the work Das Attizistische Lexikon des Moeris , supervised by Klaus Alpers . Source-critical investigation and edition PhD . Since 1995 he has been a research assistant at the University of Greifswald . In the publishing Reinecke & Voss , he has been editor of the series 2016 edition Metafrasi. Modern Greek poetry in German translation .
