The Gutleut publisher is an independent German book publisher based in Frankfurt am Main .
history
It emerged from the gutleut15 exhibition space founded in 1995 by Michael Wagener and Florian Lumeau on Gutleutstrasse in Frankfurt . The first program dates from 2002. Right from the start, the focus has been on the publication of art catalogs, documentation volumes and monographs on contemporary art .
This was added between 2006 and 2013 by the writers Bert Papenfuß and Sascha Anderson in Frankfurt a. M. and Weimar published the literary series black paperhouse , in which mainly contemporary poetry appeared. Since 2014, literary titles have appeared in the newly founded staben series . In 2018, the literary series licht for “lighter” titles was added.
