Dirty House
Dirty House , also called Dirty Dutch due to its origins in the Netherlands , is a music genre of electronic dance music . It is considered a subgenre of Electro House , a sub-form of House music.
history
The Dutchman Vato Gonzalez built his own record label under the name Dirty House and is therefore one of the founders of the house movement of the same name in his country. There was also a house event in Holland under the alternative name “Dirty Dutch”.
features
Dirty house usually differs from conventional house music because of the sometimes very high pitched tones. Listeners often refer to the “hard” and “high” synths of this genre as “squeaks”.
