Discipline is a Dutch band that uses elements of Hardcore and Oi! In their music . mixes.
history
The band from Eindhoven has existed since around 1991. It previously existed in a different composition and made music under a different name, but it wasn't until 1995 that they recorded their first demo tape with five tracks.
In 2005 they were a guest at the Eurospeedway Lausitz as a support band for the Böhsen Onkelz when they gave their farewell concert “Vaya con Tioz”.
After the singer Joost de Graaf was arrested in July 2010 on suspicion of the murder of his wife, the band canceled all concerts that year. In the meantime, de Graaf, who was drug addicts at the time of the murder, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison. Accordingly, he killed his partner with a hammer and then attempted suicide , which resulted in a major gas explosion, which he survived.
Since 2012 they have been on tour again with their new singer Merijn Verhees.
style
The hardcore version of the band is clearly influenced by Oi Punk , which is why they call their music "Street Rock'n'Roll".
