Suspension of the Campanone in St. Peter's Basilica

The Campanone with a diameter of 2.31 meters, by far the largest bell of St. Peter's Basilica. The order for the 8,950 kilogram bell was placed by Pope Pius VI. granted to Luigi Valadier (1726–1785).
