Disney film parade

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Disney Film Parade was a television show in which, after a short magazine section, a feature film from the Disney production was shown. These were mostly real-life films; full-length cartoons from the Disney production were rarely represented. Especially in the early days, classics such as Mary Poppins were often represented.

In the magazine section, new Disney films and the Disneyland amusement parks were presented; in the past, short cartoons from the 1930s to 1950s with well-known Disney characters such as Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse were also shown. From 1992 to 2002 the program ran on RTL , in 2003 it switched to ProSieben and was broadcast there until mid-June 2009. The Disney Film Parade has been shown on Kabel 1 since January 2010 , but without the magazine section that reported on the Disneyland parks and resorts.

The show was produced by Janus TV in Ismaning near Munich.
