The dit , German investment trust company, securities investment mbH , was a German investment company based in Frankfurt , referring to mutual funds specialized for investors in Germany. Dit was founded in 1955 as a fund company of Dresdner Bank and most recently covered a wide range of equity, bond, mixed, money market, guarantee, umbrella and AS funds with around 200 funds. Open real estate funds were offered through the sister company DEGI .

The dit was known, among other things, for the equity fund for DAX values Concentra (WKN 847500), the oldest German pension fund dit-Allianz Rentenfonds (WKN 847504), as well as the euro replica of the PIMCO Total Return , the dit-Euro Bond Total Return ( WKN 814806), which was later renamed Allianz Euro Bond Fund and has since merged into Allianz Euro Bond (WKN 263262).

In 2001, following the takeover of Dresdner Bank, dit became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allianz AG . On January 1, 2007, both the dit and the special fund provider dbi were merged into the new company Allianz Global Investors ; the name “dit” has now been replaced by “Allianz” in the fund names.
