Dituabanza Nsumbu

Belmond Dituabanza Nsumbu (born January 31, 1982 in Kinshasa ) is a Congolese football player.

Nsumbu began his career as a professional player in 2004 at FC Saint Eloi Lupopo . From 2005 to 2007 he played at AS Vita Club in the capital Kinshasa before returning to FC Saint Eloi.

In 2004 he played his first international match for the national team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo . The greatest sporting success was getting into the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup in 2006 .

When, according to him, a spy was smuggled into the national team and denounced him as an opponent of the government, he fled his home country for fear of persecution. Via Rennes and Munich he came to the Lower Bavarian town of Hauzenberg , where he applied for political asylum .
