The Diver Point is a headland on the northern coast of Bird Iceland off the northwestern tip of South Georgia .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1976 after the broad-billed petrel ( Pelecanoides georgicus , English South Georgia diving petrel ), whose breeding grounds the headland belongs to.
