Division I (chess) 1955
The Division I in 1955 was the sixth Swedish team championship in chess ( Allsvenskan ), while the third host in a league mode with ascent and descent.

The competitions were held in Stockholm on November 5th and 6th .
Tournament course
Last year's runner Stockholm South Station SS and the newcomer Schackkamraterna Solna fought to a draw in a direct comparison, a neck-and-neck race for the title, Södra SS with half a point ahead of Brett decided for themselves. The defending champion SK Kamraterna Göteborg had to be relegated as did the team from Värmland that had been promoted last year .
