Alexander Flierl

Alexander Flierl (born February 9, 1970 in Oberviechtach ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ). He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2013 .

Career

After graduating from high school in 1989 at the Ortenburg-Gymnasium Oberviechtach, Flierl began studying law at the University of Regensburg , which he completed in 1994 with the first state examination. This was followed by the legal preparatory service, which he finished in 1996 with the passing of the second state examination. Since 1996 he has been working as a lawyer with his own law firm in Oberviechtach.

Flierl joined the CSU in 1993. Since 2009 he has been chairman of the CSU district association Schwandorf and a member of the district committee of the CSU Upper Palatinate.

Flierl has been a city councilor in Oberviechtach and a district councilor in the Schwandorf district since 1996 . In 2002 he was elected chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group. In the state elections in 2013 and 2018 , he won the direct mandate in the Schwandorf constituency . In the 17th electoral term in the state parliament he was a member of the committee for municipal issues, internal security and sport, the committee for the environment and consumer protection and the parliamentary control body. In the 18th electoral term he is a member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry, the Committee on Environment and Consumer Protection, the Parliamentary Control Committee and the G10 Commission.

Private

Flierl is married and has two children.
