Diyar
Hozan Diyar (born December 1, 1966 in Mazgirt , Tunceli Province ) is a Kurdish singer.

He started his career with the music group Koma Berxwedan and has been recording solo albums since the 1990s. Earlier works by Diyar were more influenced by militant political texts, such as his best-known song Biz Apo'ya söz vermişiz , but his most recent albums are more pop music. He sings this song in Turkish , but most of his pieces are in Kurdish . After long years of exile in Europe, he was able to perform for the first time in Eastern Turkey in 2004, where he gave a series of very successful concerts. Hozan Diyar is married to the singer Deniz Deman.
