Dmitri Matwejewitsch Ukolow ( Russian Дмитрий Матвеевич Уколов ; born October 23, 1929 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ; † November 25, 1992 ibid) was a Russian ice hockey player (defender).
Career
During his career the striker played for HK CSKA Moscow . In total, he scored 48 goals in 250 games in the Soviet league . So he was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On January 29, 1954, he was in a World Cup game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. In the second match against Norway scored the very first hat-trick of Sbornaja at the world championships. His international career was crowned with a gold medal at the 1956 Winter Olympics . For the national team, he scored 15 goals in 85 international matches. On January 10, 1960, he played his last international match. In 1954 he was inducted into the " Russian Hockey Hall of Fame ".
