Dmitri Michejewitsch Melkich

Dmitri Michejewitsch Melkich ( Russian Дмитрий Михеевич Мелких ; born January 31 . Jul / 12. February  1885 greg. In Moscow ; † 22. February 1943 ) was a Russian composer.

After graduating, Melkich taught music theory at the Moscow Conservatory until 1925, after which he lived there as a composer, music teacher and writer. He composed three symphonies, a symphonic poem, symphonic sketches , an epitaph , four string quartets, piano sonatas and a song cycle.
