Dobele crater

The Dobele crater is an impact crater in Latvia . The Latvian town of Dobele is located in the area of the crater.
Its diameter is 4.5 kilometers and the age of the crater is estimated to be around 290 million years, which means that the impact took place during the Permian era . The impact structure is covered and cannot be seen from the surface.
