Dockanema
DOCKANEMA is an international film festival for documentary films , which in Maputo , capital of Mozambique is held. The first festival took place in September 2006 and more than 70 films were involved. Dockanema is hosted by the Mozambican production company Ebano Multimedia in cooperation with AMOCINE (the Association of Mozambican Filmmakers). At the second DOCKANEMA from 14. -23. September 2007 in Maputo more than 80 films were presented. The director of Dockanema, Pedro Pimenta, was invited by the Afrikamera - Festival of African Films for a panel discussion in Berlin in 2011 .
