Dodo I († June 14, 949 ) was Bishop of Osnabrück from 918 to 949 .

Life

Little is known about its origin. Before his election he was a member of the cathedral chapter of Hildesheim . He was a supporter of King Heinrich I. He was one of the signatories of the Treaty of Bonn between Heinrich I and the West Franconian King Charles the Simple in 921 . A year later he took part in the Synod of Koblenz and in 932 the Synod of Erfurt.
