Drogo (Osnabrück)
Drogo († May 10, 967 ) was Bishop of Osnabrück from 949 to 967 .
Life
Little is known about his life before his bishopric. Drogo was tight with Otto I connected. He accompanied him on various trains. For his support, Otto I granted him coin, customs and market rights in Wiedenbrück in 952 . In 953 he was present at a meeting of bishops and greats in Aachen . Drogo was present at Otto's coronation as emperor in Rome in 962. In 965 the emperor gave him large forests in the area of what would later become the bishopric of Osnabrück . In the same year he took part in the Cologne Synod.
