Dodou Bammy Jagne (* 20th century ) is a Gambian diplomat, politician and administrative officer in the West African state of Gambia .

Life

Around 2001 Dodou Bammy Jagne was State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economics. He held this position in March 2004 and became the Gambian ambassador to the United States at the end of March. He was also accredited for Canada. At the end of December 2007, Jagne was replaced by Tamsir Jallow in Washington. Then he entered the banking industry and worked as deputy managing director of BSIC Bank. Jagne was then ambassador to Senegal from June 2014 to March 2015, where he replaced Samba Faal and was then transferred to Qatar, in Qatar he replaces Ansumana Jammeh .

President Yahya Jammeh appointed Jagne as General Secretary and Head of Public Service on June 30, 2016. He is the successor to Sulayman Samba . On 18 August 2016 he was appointed as Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure ( English Minister of Transport, Works and Infrastructure ) appointed General and Head of the Civil Service was its predecessor Sulayman Samba. In September Jagne was replaced by Bala Garba-Jahumpa as Minister for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
