The Dogon Dagger is a dagger of the Dogon of West Africa .

description

The Dogon dagger has a wedge-shaped, narrow, double-edged blade . The blade has no central ridge and no hollow grind. The blade and the handle consist of a piece of cast-yellow-like material which was formed into the dagger using the lost wax process. The handle is with figural representations of horsemen decorated which a known motif are among the Dogon. The dagger was used as a cult weapon.
