Manfred A. Zirngibl

Manfred A. Zirngibl (born May 31, 1938 - March 22, 2014 ) was a German collector of traditional African weapons.

He became interested in Africa at an early age and was able to inspect the exhibits in the mission museum of the Schweiklberg Abbey . After graduating from the Business School in Passau , he began collecting African objects around 1958. Zirngibl is the author of recognized specialist books and has used his expertise for various exhibitions, including those at the Weltmuseum Wien .
