The Doktorteich is a reservoir near Wermsdorf in Saxony . It belongs to the Sachsendorfer ponds and is located northeast of the Wurzen district of Sachsendorf, which gives it its name . It is primarily used for pond farming (fish farming).
It is drained by the Mühlteich, which flows through other Wurzen districts and joins the Dehnitz Lache near Dehnitz , which flows into the hollow shortly afterwards .
Building
The barrier structure of the Doktorteich is an earth dam .
