Documents for the construction of the Semmering Railway
The historical documents on the construction of the Semmering Railway include a total of 164 notebooks, sketches, drawings, watercolors, lithographs and steel engravings from the years between 1844 and 1910. They have been kept in the Vienna Technical Museum since the 1980s and were included in the list of the World Document Heritage. The railway line itself has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998 .
