Butorowy Wierch ski area
The Butorowy Wierch ski area is located on the summit and the southern slopes of the Gubałówka in the Polish Pogórze Gubałowskie mountain range in the municipality of Kościelisko in the Tatrzański powiat in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located outside the Tatra National Park . The ski area is currently closed due to legal disputes. However, the cable car operates in the summer months. It is managed by Polskie Koleje Linowe SA.

The ski area is located at an altitude of 886 m above sea level to 1158 m above sea level. The difference in altitude between the slopes is approx. 272 m. There is a red (difficult) and several easy slopes. The total length of the slopes is approx. 2 km.
history
The ski area was created in 1978. The ski lift was built in the same year.

Ski lifts
There is a chair lift and several button lifts in the ski area. A total of up to 880 people can be transported per hour.
Butorowy Wierch ski lift
The ski lift leads from Kościelisko to just below the Gubałówka ridge. Its length is approx. 1619 m.

Infrastructure
The ski area is about three kilometers west of the center of Zakopane and can be reached by car. There are parking spaces and several restaurants at the lower station.
