Dolmen du Mas de l'Artillou

The Dolmen de l'Artillou (also called Dolmen du Mas de l'Artillou ) is located in a field south of Espédaillac near Figeac in the Lot department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

It is one of the simple, open "dolmen simple" typical of the Lot department, consisting of only two approximately 4.0 m long, slightly inwardly inclined, lateral supporting stones and the ceiling plate of 4.0 × 2.5 m, during the End stone or a corresponding dry masonry closure is missing, as is the access structure. No remains of the hill have survived either. The northwest-southeast oriented chamber made of limestone slabs is 4.0 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.5 m high.

The Dolmen Mas de l'Artou 1 + 2 are nearby.
