The Skredbotnen (Norwegian for avalanche cauldron ) is a mountain cauldron in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains it is located on the west side of Grytøyrfjellet .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
