Caillère dolmen

The dolmen of Caillère (also called dolmen of Montsabert) is located next to the mansion of Caillère, which gives it its name, in Montsabert, north of Coutures , near Angers in the Maine-et-Loire department in France .

In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ). The approximately 3.5 m long simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) has four large bearing stones and a cap stone. The lower interior can be reached via three steps. What looks like a window is the strongly eccentric entrance.
