Carl Wellenkamp

Carl August Bruno Wellenkamp (* around 1820 in Hildesheim ; † after 1888 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Carl Wellenkamp was the son of the master builder Clamor Adolf Theodor Wellenkamp in Hildesheim. From Easter 1838 he studied law at the University of Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen . After completing his studies, he entered the administrative service of the Kingdom of Hanover and in 1844 became an official assessor in the Bilderlahe office . In 1852 he was entrusted with the management of the Syke office and in 1853 he was appointed bailiff of the short-lived Brinkum office . In 1859 he became a bailiff in Esens , in 1863 in Achim and in 1883 in Soltau . When the office was transferred to the district constitution in 1885, he became district administrator of the Soltau district . In 1888 he retired.
