The dolmen of Pataou is a "dolmen coudé", a megalithic complex bent at roughly right angles . It is located in Lacapelle-Livron in Tarn-et-Garonne in the region Occitan in southern France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The chamber of the facility is about 3.0 × 1.0 m in size and consists of two preserved lateral supporting stones. The end stone and the cap stone are missing. The chamber is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the hill. The elbow-shaped, inclined corridor measures 3.5 × 1.0 m and consists of two lateral support plates of different lengths. The ceiling plate is missing, as is an access structure and structural design of the transition to the chamber. The height of the system is on average 1.2 m.

An oval burial mound measuring 15.5 × 13 m has been preserved. The outline of the original mound was trapezoidal (11.5 m long and 6.3 m at the north and 5.3 m at the south end) and somewhat asymmetrical in its longitudinal profile.

The finds are typical of the Copper Age: bones, a few shards, jewelry and a spearhead made of flint.
