Dolmen of Saint Hilaire
The restored dolmen of Saint Hilaire is located north of Saint-Priest-la-Plaine near Guéret in the Creuse department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
The small mushroom-like dolmen with the hemispherical capstone, which rests on three supporting stones, was excavated in 1986, and ceramic shards and arrowheads were found. During the investigation, traces of a small access structure to the chamber were found.
The Menhir de la Rebeyrolle and the Dolmen la Pierre-Folle are nearby .
