Domaniky de Domanik
Domaniky de Domanik is an ancient noble family that comes from the Sohl County . One branch of the family also lived in Hont County .
history
At the beginning of the 12th century a nobleman named Domanik was mentioned in a document in Sohl County. Domanik had five sons, only one of whom survived. In 1382 they got the rule with the same name Domaníky .
In 1564 the family received further possessions in Sohl County, which are said to have been a donation from the king.
This sex died out in the male line, but was continued in other noble families such as the Pomothy , Rákóczy, Horváthy, Kéry and Ághy.
