The Dome (also known as Davis Dome ) is a rounded, snow-covered and 2410  m (according to Australian data 2380  m ) high mountain peak on the island of Heard , which belongs to the Australian outer area of ​​the Heard and McDonald Islands . It rises 1.7 km northwest of Mawson Peak .

Participants in the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions took surveys in 1948 and gave it his name. The name giver in the long form is the Australian navigator and explorer John King Davis (1884-1967).
