Dominica Award of Honor
The Dominica Award of Honor is an award from the Commonwealth of Dominica . The order was created in 1967 and is the highest honor bestowed by the President of Dominica.
Shape, material and manufacture
The order is an oval gold-colored medal. The inscription THE DOMINICA AWARD OF HONOR is engraved on an outer ring . The center of the medallion shows the stamped Dominica coat of arms .
The medallion hangs on a ring that attaches it to a yellow ribbon, which is decorated with a central black stripe with a white border. DAH is used as an abbreviation for names.
Another, lower award is the Sisserou Award of Honor .
