Dominik Alder (born July 3, 1999 in Herisau , Switzerland ) is a Swiss floorball player who plays for the first team of SV Wiler-Ersigen .

UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen

Since the 2016/17 season, the young player has been a striker at UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen under contract. Before that, the stocky player went through the U16, U18 and U21 junior teams of the UHC WaSa.

Alder made his debut in a 6-5 win over UHC Uster . On April 10, 2016, he scored the goal to make it 3-1 in the 36th minute of the game against Floorball Thurgau. The pass came from teammate Sandro Büchel. For the 2016/17 season, Alder was appointed to the first team squad. Alder has a license for the Juniors U18, which allows him additional assignments in the U18 and U21 teams of Eastern Switzerland.

SV Wiler-Ersigen

On April 3, 2017, both the UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen and SV Wiler-Ersigen announced the transfer of the U19 national player to SVWE. The transfer was made conditional on Alder passing the entrance examination for medical studies at the University of Bern. If it does not pass this, it remains with the UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen.

National team

Alder played for the Swiss U19 national team.

On November 1st, 2016 he was nominated for the U19 national team for the Euro Floorball Tour in Växjö, Sweden. A year earlier, the Herisauer was nominated for the Euro Floorball Tour in Brno, Czech Republic.
