Dominique Juilland

Dominique Juilland (* 1943 ) is a Swiss officer ( division general ) and former defense attaché .

Life

Juilland studied sociology (License en sociologie). He joined the Swiss Army Instructional Corps in 1974 and attended the École supérieure de Guerre in Paris. Juilland was the commander of the officer schools of the military women's service and from 1991 head of the planning department in the general staff . From 1994 to 1995 he was in command of the Territorial Brigade 10. Most recently, he held the rank of division general and was Swiss Defense Attaché in Paris.

He is the President of the Swiss Association for Military History and Science (SVMM) and a member of the Swiss Society for Military History Study Tours. With this he organized trips to France and Germany.

Juilland also published articles on military history and the like. a. in the Revue Militaire Suisse .
