Dominique Renaux

Dominique Renaux (born November 6, 1952 ) is a French ambassador .

Life

Dominique Renaux studied law and economics with a degree from the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and Arabic language from the Institut national des langues et civilizations orientales . He joined the foreign service on December 1, 1982.

From 1983 to 1984 he was employed at the Quai d'Orsay in the Africa and Madagascar department. From 1984 to 1987 he was accredited as first embassy secretary in Doha, from 1987 to 1990 in Tunis and from 1987 to 1990 in Ottawa. In 1991 he was promoted to the first embassy secretary in Ottawa, where he remained until 1993.

From 1993 to 1994 he was seconded to Elf Aquitaine as Director of International Relations. From 1995 to 1997 he was deputy director for international relations at the Institut français du pétrole in the field of petro lubricants .

From 1997 to 2000 he was employed at the Quai d'Orsay in the Export Licenses department. On November 14, 2002 Dominique Renaux became a Knight of the Legion of Honor .
