The St. Eberhard Cathedral Chapel is the chamber choir of the St. Eberhard Cathedral Music in Stuttgart . The direction of the choir is currently Lydia Schimmer.

Depending on the program, the choir appears in alternating formations, from a small vocal ensemble to a chamber choir with 40 voices and works on a project-specific basis.

The repertoire of recent years includes a cappella works of classical vocal polyphony, the music settings of the Viennese classical music by Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as the St. Matthew Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach . In the field of new music, the ensemble designed various world premieres for the Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Liturgical Music in Tübingen.

The church music of St. Eberhard has a tradition of almost 200 years with the former court and today's Stuttgart State Orchestra , whose members support the cathedral chapel as professional partners in orchestral works.

Since its foundation in 1994, the cathedral chapel has been involved in the liturgical service of the co- cathedral of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese and designs the cathedral liturgy in alternation with the other ensembles of the Stuttgart cathedral music.
