Don't Answer Me
Don't Answer Me is a track from the album Ammonia Avenue (1984) by The Alan Parsons Project . The music video of the piece was developed in a comic book style and comes from MW Kaluta . It was the first video clip the band released and the first fully animated music video ever.
The piece
Instead of an art rock or progressive rock piece, for which Alan Parsons was known at the time, he released Don't Answer Me in the style of Phil Spector and his Wall of Sound technique. Eric Woolfson , who co-wrote the piece, was the vocalist on Don't Answer Me , and Mel Collins recorded the saxophone solo.
