Don Barnes

Don Barnes (born December 3, 1952 ) is an American southern rock singer, guitarist and composer. He also plays the piano, harmonica, mandolin and the slide guitar. He is one of the founders and a member of the Southern Rock Band 38 Special . Barnes has sung many great hits such as B. "Rockin 'into the Night", "Hold On Loosely", "Caught Up in You", "If I'd Been the One", "Back Where You Belong" and "Like No Other Night" and many more.

Barnes left the band after the 1986 album "Strength in Numbers" and was replaced by Max Carl .

He released a solo album of the same name in 1989, with musicians such as Jeff Porcaro von Toto and Dann Huff .

He rejoined 38 Special in the 1990s and has stayed with them ever since.
