Donald D. Dorfman

Donald Daniel Dorfman (born June 11, 1933 in Philadelphia , † April 15, 2001 ) was an American professor of psychology and radiology.

Dorfmann graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1954. At the University of Michigan he received his Masters in 1957 and his PhD in 1961.

1962-1968 he was at San Diego State University and then moved to the University of Iowa, where he was appointed professor of psychology in 1974 and professor of radiology in 1991.

Dorfmann succumbed to complications from non-Hodgkin lymphoma . The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center presents the Donald D. Dorfman Research Award for the best research on leukemia .
