Trai Byers
Trai Byers (born July 19, 1983 in Kansas City , Kansas ) is an American actor. He became known for his role as Andre Lyon in the television series Empire .
Life
Byers attended high school in Kansas City. He then studied at the University of Kansas and received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Yale School of Drama . In 2011 Byers made his television debut in the US soap opera All My Children and was in the teen soap 90210 the following year . Since 2015 he has played the role of Andre Lyon in Empire . On the set he met his wife Grace Gealey .
