Donald S. Prudlo

Donald Sherm Prudlo (* 1976 ) is an American Roman Catholic historian .

Life

He earned a BA in History (Minor in Classics ) from Christendom College (1999), an MA in Theology from Christendom College's Notre Dame Graduate School in 1999 and his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 2004. He is Professor at Jacksonville State University of Ancient, Medieval and Reformation history.

His research interests are hagiography and the life of saints, medieval miracle stories, the history of the Church, and the development of canonization. His specialization lies in medieval religious history and in medieval Italy.
