Jacksonville State University

The Jacksonville State University (also JSU is called) is a state university in Jacksonville in the US state of Alabama . It was founded in 1883 as the Jacksonville State Normal School . It has had its current name since 1967. In 2011, 9490 students were enrolled.

Sports

The Jacksonville State University sports teams are the Gamecocks . The college is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference .
