Donarquelle (Kassel)
The Donarquelle , also called Donarbrunnen , is a natural spring , now enclosed in the Kassel district of Niederzwehren .
It is located not far west of Schönfeld Park , immediately north or east of the sports fields of SpVgg Olympia 1914 Kassel (the "Donarbrunnen Stadium"), in the corner of the streets Am Donarbrunnen and Brüder-Grimm-Straße.
Their water, which served the Niederzwehren allotment gardeners association for a long time as a source of drinking water , flows about 300 m to the east through the allotment gardens adjoining the park and then flows into the park from the left into the Spittelbach - also known as the Hellebach, Donarbach or Schönfeldbach and popularly known as Spittelssiegen Schönfeld flows through it from northwest to southeast.
