Donatas Stakišaitis
Donatas Stakišaitis (born February 24, 1956 in Kapsukas ) is a Lithuanian pediatrician and professor .
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Kapsukas in 1974 , he studied medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas in 1981 . From 1981 to 1985 he worked as a pediatrician in the hospital in the district of Šakiai . From 1985 to 1986 he was clinical ordinator at the Vilniaus universitetas (VU). From 1986 to 1988 he graduated from the postgraduate and a doctorate in medicine at the VU. From 1988 to 1992 he completed his habilitation at the cardiology institute of the Kauno medicinos akademija . From 1992 to 1994 he worked as a research assistant at the Anaesthesiology - Reanimatology - Clinic of the Medical Faculty of the VU. From 1998 to 2003 he was a senior research assistant at the Center for Pediatrics at VU. Since 2003 he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Oncology at VU and since 2005 Professor at the Chair of Biological Law at the Law Faculty of the Mykolo Romerio universitetas .
He is married and has a son and a daughter.
