Franco Donatoni
Franco Donatoni (born June 9, 1927 in Verona , † August 17, 2000 in Milan ) was an Italian composer .
Life
He studied in Milan, Bologna and Rome and then worked as a professor at the Conservatories in Bologna and Milan. In 1965 he received a call to the Turin Conservatory .
He was far removed from the musical style of the avant-garde of his contemporaries, he oriented himself towards tonal forms. His output includes works of various genres and ensembles, including a ballet, a string symphony, chamber music and music for keyboard instruments.
